Stevie & Deb Cee Celebrate 40 years!

Congratulations Stevie & Deb

...on February 19, 2010 they will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Stevie & Deb started out very young (16 when they married) but have built a good life for themselves. They like to kid around & say they still "actually like each other". When Deb was asked what keeps them together she responded with, "He makes me laugh!" On the 19th there will be a gathering in their honor at the York County Veterans Alliance in Biddeford, Maine. You're all invited! Best Wishes to the anniversary couple-to the next 40 years!
(Watch for photos of the celebration....)

Our summer has been full of fun & music with festivals, fairs and some area clubs. Stevie is in rare form this year and truly entertains the fans everywhere he goes. Because of prior commitments Stevie was not able to perform on the April 19th Yard Sale Show for Christmas for Families, the annual fundraiser started by Tommy Dean, but he did perform at the Christmas For Families Concert on November 15th, 2009. Photos are up regarding the fundraiser. It was fun as always and the music was fantastic. A big thank you goes out to all the Entertainers who help with this event, our MC Bill DaButler, our traveling guest, Ann Brown, from Pennsylvania. Congratulations to Doc Morrill for receiving the Billy Charles/Tommy Dean Memorial Award for all he's done for Christmas for Families.

Sunday, October 7, 2007 Stevie Cee was inducted into the Maine Ole Opry here in the great State of Maine. Stevie had no idea that a committee of his piers had voted him to be one of the first inductee's into the Maine Opry. It was indeed a great honor to Stevie as he follows in the footsteps of Maine legends like Dick Curless, Slim Clark and living legend Mr.Rusty Rogers. These men have paved the way and have kept good ole country music alive! The Maine Ole Opry is an idea born 5 years ago by Joan Cole, CEO of the Pine Tree State Country Music Association. Three other gentlemen received an induction, all gentlemen are performers/songwriters who share their music around Maine. Stevie was recognized for his talent & accomplishments, for his travels to Europe, Australia and around the U.S. sharing his music. Part of the criteria was also dedication to country music and the opry, reputation and knowledge of country music, the response from the audience and how they relate to their fans and other Opry Members. The committee felt that Stevie, along with the other 3 gentlemen fit all attributes. Thank you for this great honor! I will do my best to live up to it. Stevie performed at the 2008 Maine Ole Opry October 5th, backed by members of the Spectrum Band of Biddeford. The boys did a great job and Stevie had a lot of fun. The Opry was held at The Silver Spur in Mechanic Falls, Maine and again in October 2009 backed by members of Bobby Reed and the Wildhorse Band.

I'm still lovin'what I do and the music business changes everyday, but it's all what you make of it. I thank God each day for my talent and plan to continue on my path sharing my songs and putting a smile on everyone's face.  Have fun with the rest of the site. Thank you my friends, family and fans for making my job so much fun.....thank you DJ's for playing my songs & sharing them with your listeners.....thank you for helping to make my dreams come true.
